South City is a truly unique opportunity to develop a master-planned 32 hectare green-field site in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and one of Europe’s fastest growing economies. Potentially comprising of more than 4,000 residential units and over 500,000 square metres of commercial space, the South City lands have the potential to be transformed into a major town centre on completion. The project was held in joint venture between an investor syndicate managed by Avestus and a leading local development partner, who has significant residential development experience in the city. Having achieved significant permitting milestones in the master-planning of the project, Avestus successfully arranged the sale of the syndicate’s interest in the lands to the joint venture partner in 2021.
