Breda & Weinstein is a modern and architecturally unique 26,300 square metres shopping centre, located in the very heart of Opava, in the east of the Czech Republic. The centre, which is the prime shopping destination in the city, comprises over one hundred retail units (and 500 underground car spaces) and is a unique combination of historical buildings and modern retail space. In conjunction with a local operating partner, Avestus sourced, permitted and preleased the development which, since opening in 2012, has won a number of prestigious architectural awards. Following the successful completion of a leasing renewal programme in 2018, the asset was sold to a local investor on attractive terms.
