The two adjoining properties in Munich, Germany, collectively known as Maximilianhofe, are located on Maximilianstrasse in the heart of the shopping and business district of Germany’s third largest city. Maximilianstrasse is the premier luxury retail street in Germany and the property comprises both high-end retail and office space across 20,200 square metres of space. It is let to an array of international and German tenants including some of the world’s best known fashion retailers and leading professional services firms such as Versace, Doce & Gabbana, Bain Capital and Kirkland & Ellis. Having managed to significantly improve the profile of the tenant base and increase the rental income, Avestus took advantage of strong investor demand for very prime assets such as Maximilianhöfe and sold the properties in 2012 to an international investor.
